We will provide you with all the necessary documentation for your records to ensure that
you comply with Fire Requirements (AS 1851 – 2012). This gives peace of mind and the sure
knowledge that your investment is safe from fire risks.
Before carrying out any maintenance work, we will always consult with you to explain the
reason why it needs to be done and explain how it will affect you. We will not carry out
work without prior approval from the client and will only repair or replace what is
necessary.
Our service include, but are not limited to the following:
- Servicing and testing of fire equipment.
- Maintenance and repair of equipment.
- Supply and installation of fire equipment.
- Supply and installation of fire extinguishers and fire blankets.
- Fire detection alarm systems and smoke detectors.
- Plumbing, fire detection, alarm systems, hydrants and pump sets.
- Hose Reels and Hydrants.
- Passive fire systems, fire doors and emergency lighting.
- Installation of correct signage.
- Log books Supplied.
- First Aid kit inspection and replenishment.
- Servicing and supply of safety showers.
- Servicing and supply of eye wash stations.
If equipment has to be removed from site, we will supply free of charge substitute
equipment and when the matter has been resolved, we will reinstall the equipment.
We are fully insured with Public Liability, Professional Indemnity, Workers Compensation
and Comprehensive Motor Vehicle Policies.
Copies of our policies are available upon request.

We do not charge for the disposal of old equipment and recycle everything that is possible
to recycle. This is done via the discharge and dismantling equipment into its constituent
parts. These parts are then sent for recycling to be used again.
We are Bronze Members of the FPA Australia and as such are privy to all the latest
developments within the Industry. We have access to all the latest Standards Information
and updates.
Our team of technicians are highly skilled and can be called upon to provide all the
information that you need to make a decision on any matter.
We will provide annual budgeting on the cost of equipment, servicing and provide free
written quotes upon request.

3. Establish safety and environmental goals and objectives and the business plans
necessary to achieve these goals.
4. Provide accurate and timely measurement and report on the performance of these
goals.
5. Implement and evaluate EH & S Management Systems in order to reduce risks and
continually monitor and improve these systems to improve EH & S outcomes.
6. Integrate health, safety and environmental sustainability considerations into all
aspects of the business and in dealing with suppliers, customers and contractors.
7. We require all employees to adhere to these standards at all times and provide
management with the means, resources and help necessary to lead, support,
monitor and maintain accountability for the implementation of this policy.
8. When working on customers premises apply the same standards and discipline to
safeguard personnel and the environment.
The health and safety of all personnel and the protection of the environment is everybody’s
responsibility. Above all we seek to consult with customers, employees and contractors on
all these matters and actively seek continuous improvement.
Electrical Safety:
Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters will be used on all portable tools and portable electrical
devices used in maintenance / service of equipment. All circuits will be tested for voltage
and potential hazard prior to commencement of work at any of our customers sites.
Control of Hazardous Energy
Prior to performing any work on machines or equipment employees shall identify all
hazardous energy forms and bring them to a zero energy state and secure them prior to any
commencement of works.
Motor Vehicles:
Motor vehicles shall be roadworthy in every respect and comply with all national and state
legislation, be serviced and maintained in an appropriate manner and be fully insured.
Warning beacons and radios are to be used as per site requirements. No employee is to use
a two wheel or three wheel vehicle without prior management approval.
Fall Protection:
Employees shall use fall protection equipment when exposed to a fall hazard while working
at a height of 2 meters or more. We will always ensure that there is sufficient lighting in roof
cavities and similar situations for employees to carry out work. All load bearing surfaces will
be checked prior to work commencing.
Suspended Loads
No employee under any circumstances may work or pass under a suspended load.
Confined Space:
Any confined space entry will require a competent person, trained and assisted prior to
entry. Problems identified, safeguards taken and a written JSA outlining hazards,
preventions and procedures.
Powered Industrial Vehicles ( PIV ‘s ):
Observe the local site speed limits and caution signs, adhere to site specific rules. Never
allow a passenger on the vehicle and use seat belts / restraints.
Machine Guarding:
Under no circumstances is any machine guarding to be removes while the equipment is
energised. Tag in / out system is to be used under all circumstances to prevent personal
injury.
Safety First:
At MCG Fire Services we believe that safety come first under all circumstances, we want
everyone to go home in the same or better condition than when they arrived at work.
We therefore, want everybody to embrace the values and commitment to safety as outlined
in our policy. We want our employees to use the SAFE method of working on all sites.
This is a mental and visual review of the work at hand, prior to the commencement of work.
This may include, but is not limited to driving a vehicle, installing equipment or delivering
fire extinguishers.
Scan For potential risks and hazards.
Assess What Could happen if the hazard is not identified?
Fix Fix hazards if they exist.
Execute Make any changes to the actions that are required.

Documentation:
At all times documentation requirements will be adhered to, all inductions and site specific
requirements will be met.

time to our customers and contractors.
